Plums Restaurant

Goal

To redesign the website for a local restaurant located in Beaufort, SC. The client wished to have their new design clearly represent the Low Country area and the cuisine they provide.

Role

This site was designed for PickleJuice Productions, a local boutique marketing agency located in Beaufort, SC. My role for this project was to take PickleJuice Production’s design specs and bring them to life by site mapping, designing and presenting mockups, along with web development, implementation, and deployment.

Palette & Design

Beaufort, SC is know for its seafood and shrimping boats and I wanted to bring in these two main aspects into the design. I used several images of seafood laid cleanly on dark slate to give the design a more modern feel. I also used a light white wood grain texture in the background of the text content to match the weathered look of the hull on shrimping boats.
