Goal 

Design the logo and branding colors for a local community news outlet in Aiken, SC 

Role 

I worked on all phases on this project from client meetings, branding exploration and design, to brand ingpresentation and providing files for print. 

The client wanted to use colors that were bright and vibrant while also maintaining tones of nature, reflecting the Aiken community. A handmade brush script was chosen for the word “Blend” to add a grassroots element to the logo. A sans-serif font was used for the rest of the logo to increase readability for the slogan and location of the business.
